    What's in the Box

    • S01 Motor Bracket
    • Electric Thruster
    • Battery Pack
    • Mounting Straps (included)

    Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1 — Insert the Thruster into the Bracket

Pick up the thruster and align it with the pin socket at the top of the S01 bracket, then push it straight down until it clicks into place. Make sure the thruster is oriented toward the stern with the propeller end facing down — don't install it backwards.

Step 2 — Clamp the Bracket onto the Transom

Slide the bracket over the transom so the clamp plates sit on either side of the board. Center it left-to-right so the thruster lines up with the middle of the hull — this keeps you tracking straight while underway. For inflatable boats, make sure the tubes are fully inflated before mounting. For SUPs, lay the board flat before attaching the bracket.

Step 3 — Tighten the Wing Knob to Secure the Bracket

Turn the wing knob clockwise, applying even pressure until the bracket is completely firm. Hand-tighten only — no tools needed. The bracket should not move at all when done. Avoid over-tightening, as excessive force can damage the hull. First-time installers: complete this step on shore and double-check for any looseness before launching.

Step 4 — Connect and Secure the Battery

Place the battery pack in a stable position on the boat, preferably near the stern, and secure it with the included straps to prevent shifting while underway. Align the battery connector with the thruster's power cable and push firmly until seated. The connector is keyed to prevent reverse insertion — if it won't go in, check the orientation before trying again. Never force it.

Step 5 — Power On and Hit the Water!

Press the battery's power button and confirm the indicator light comes on normally. Test at low speed first to make sure everything feels right, then you're good to go. We recommend a quick run in shallow water to get a feel for the handling. Always wear a life jacket before launching, and make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.

    S01 Compatibility

    FAQ

Q1. Will the bracket damage my inflatable boat? No. The bracket mounts directly to the transom, which effectively distributes the clamping pressure. Just hand-tighten the wing knob — no tools or extra force required.

Q2. How deep should the thruster sit in the water? The propeller should be fully submerged 5–10 cm below the surface. You can fine-tune the depth by adjusting the bracket's vertical position on the transom.

Q3. Do I need to reinstall it every time I go out? No. Once the bracket is mounted, you simply press the release clip to flip the thruster up out of the water — quick and convenient every time.

Q4. How do I maintain it after use? Just rinse the bracket and thruster with fresh water after each session.
